# What are AI credits on a Freedom plan?

> AI credits are used when Cutshort reviews talent database profiles against your key requirements. Each profile uses 1 credit, including Top 50.

AI credits are used when Cutshort reviews a candidate profile against your key requirements. That happens while you browse talent database search results. Each profile reviewed uses 1 AI credit.

**Top 50** uses the same credits. Turning it on starts reviewing those search results automatically, so Cutshort can find the top 50 who match every mandatory requirement. See [How do I find Top 50 candidates who match all my requirements?](/employers/find-top-50-candidates).

If you run out, you can buy more separately.

Freedom plans include AI credits each month based on company size.

| ----------------- | --------------------- |
| 1–19 employees    | 5,000                 |
| 20–99 employees   | 10,000                |
| 100–499 employees | 10,000                |
| 500+ employees    | 10,000                |
