# I'm not able to upload my resume

> Fix resume upload issues on Cutshort — try uploading from your dashboard, then contact engineering if it still fails.

Resume upload can fail during signup, on your dashboard, or while applying to a job. In most cases, trying again from your dashboard fixes it.

## Try uploading here

1. Log in at [cutshort.io](https://cutshort.io) with the email on your Cutshort account.
2. Open your [**candidate dashboard**](https://cutshort.io/profile/candidate-dashboard).
3. In the **talent card** section, click **Update resume** and upload your file again.

Use a **PDF** or **Word** file under the size limit shown in the uploader. If you uploaded the wrong file, uploading again replaces it.

You can also update resume-related details from **Edit talent card** on the same dashboard. See [How to update your resume](/candidates/update-resume) for more on talent cards.

## On mobile

Open the Cutshort app, go to your profile or dashboard, and upload your resume from there. If upload fails in the app, try the same steps on the website using the link above.

## Still not working?

If you see an error (for example, upload fails, spins forever, or "failed to get signed URL"), email **[engineering@cutshort.io](mailto:engineering@cutshort.io?subject=Resume%20upload%20issue)** from your **registered Cutshort email** so we can open a ticket.

Include:

* The email you use to log in to Cutshort
* What you were doing (dashboard upload, applying to a job, signup, etc.)
* The exact error message, if any
* Browser or device (Chrome on laptop, Android app, etc.)

We will follow up from there.
